There is something about FUSCHIA ...

It's been a while since my last post

I'm kinda procrastinate a little bit to post something on my blog, mainly because i was lazy

But today i have something quiet interesting to post

Well lately i've been into the wagon of using Fuschia Lipstick

Reason ???

No reason at all

I just so into it right now

At first, i thought fuschia is not me

I remember long time ago, i see korean drama actress wears a lot of bright fuschia lipstick and i ended up bought one and when i try it on myself it look extremely ridiculous.

Then i put those lipstick in the deepest section of my collection and never wear it again.

Now, it is totally different situation

I don't know how it happen actually, but i try them on one more time and i was completely captivated !!!

Like seriously, i wear them almost every time i can get my hand on it.

So the big sum up about this post is literally not my struggle with fuschia lipstick bit more on the side that i wanna show you guys 4 type of fuschia lip products i've been loving now.

Etude House Dear Blooming Lipstick in shade PK015

Start with the first FUSCHIA lipstick i bought back then when i was obsessed with korean drama

It is the Etude House Dear Blooming Lipstick that is part of the pink collection Etude House release back last year.

I was really captivated with the ad where Krystal wear this lipstick.

I thought i never have lipstick with that color before and decided to buy it anyway

Turns out now, it is really become one of my favorite

I really like how the color show on my lips now.

It is very pigmented, have satin finish and leave a stain even after drinking or eating.

So i think it is a must to include this as one of my favorite " Fushcia Lip "

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in shade 37 L'exuberante

I always always love Chanel lipstick

The packaging, the formula, the goodness

It is just one of my favorite lipstick in the whole lipstick type and brand

This particular shade is one of my most use Chanel Lipstick

As the name suggest, it gives matte finish to the lip but not too matte that it makes it uncomfortable to wear.

It is extremely comfortable, so pigmented and has a good long lasting formula

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in shade Ole Flamingo

Have i ever mention that Bourjois is actually a sister company to Chanel Cosmetics?

Well no wonder because the quality of this lippies are comparable to Chanel

Just like the rouge allure velvet, the rouge edition velvet from Bourjois offer matte finish to the lip and a very lighweight formula so it is comfortable to wear daily basis,

The only different is the bourjois is in liquid creamy formulation

If you see the swatches below, the bourjois one has more creamy formulation than Chanel

And of course from the price

So if you need a nice dupe for the L'exuberante, just get the Ole flamingo :)

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine no.5 Fuschia in Excess

And the last of the whole Fuschia madness, i can't get done with it until mentioning YSL RVS in no.5

This is the lipstick when i want to rock the fuschia lip without going to much

It has sheer formulation which make it really nice to wear on daily basis since it shows sheer and just give hint of color to the lips

Just like wearing tinted balms but obviously better.

Definitely a stapple if you are a little bit shy to go full on bold lipstick xD.

REVIEW : Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet

Hey guys

Today post is another lip products review and it is from a brand call Bourjois

Well Bourjois is a france brand who is a sister company to Chanel Cosmetics

I hear a lot of Bourjois products from UK Blogger and Youtubers such as Viviannadoesmakeup and Amelia Liana.

And this particular lip product really caught my attention when they mention it in their video.

So about two months ago i put it as one of my wishlist products and finally i could get my hand on it.

 

 

For the packaging, it's just a simple tube packaging with colors base on the colors inside.

Very simple but quite elegant, it has dove applicator which is very common for liquid type lip products.

Consistency of the product itself it's not quite liquidy, more like cream which in my opinion is one of the reason the colors is so opaque.

Another thing that make me very interesting with this product is the finishes.

It's claim to be a matte finish lippies

 

Bourjois released 6 (six) colors for this line

I decided to got only two which is the red one no.3 Hot Pepper and the bright pink one no.5 Ole Flamingo

 

 

First impression ?

Well like i said before, it is very very pigmented.

The color is just super opaque and very creamy which make this product easily glide into the lips.

It is a matte finish but as you put it into the lips, slightly it will turn to be a little powdery.

As for how comfortable it is on the lips, well no doubt it is very lightweight on the lips which make people who wear it will feel more comfortable eventhough the color is super intense.

I really like the applicator too, it is a very good dove applicator.

One thing that i notice too while waring it, this products not easily budge and gonna last hours.

Even after drinking or eating, i found it still leaving stain in the lips.

 

For the minus

Well i have one problem with it

It smells like plastic !!!

not the packaging, but the actual lipstick is smells very plastic-y

I really hate it that way

I just hope when they reformulated this products they will do something about the smells cause it's kinda annoying ><.

But other than that, i have no problem with how this lippies perform.

Now i know why it's highly rave in UK xD.

I got mine from Metro for Rp 178.000 per piece

It's quite pricey but i like how it shows on my lips and how great the pigmentation is

 

I will definitely give this a 5 if only they do something about the smells but for now it still 4 stars only >.<

♥ Review Milani Power Lip Lasting & Moisturizing Gloss Stain ♥

Today post is a review on new lip products i just try on

Well if you don't know me, i'm a type of girl with so many lip products and i do like to collect them

That's why i always trying new things and see if the products that hype on internet world really do worth it.

So as you guys see the title, i'm gonna reviewing Milani products today

Never heard of Milani ???

Well if you live in Indonesia, you can't find this brand on retail store or department store like other brand for example Maybelline.

Yes i purchase mine straightly from online shop call Pauline Boutique

Every month they always open order for US Brand such as Milani, Elf, Rimmel and etc.

Go check them out xD

Now for the review

I never try any Milani lip products before

I love their infamous Luminoso Blush which is such a gorgeous blush

But for lip products ??

Not even

Sooo, while i keep my hobby watching Youtube i found that this particular products quite famous among youtubers

So i check and order them and now it is time for me to review them for you guys xD

 

I got two shades from this line

The pink one is call Pink Lemonade while the slightly orange-red is call Mango Tango

Catchy name ? Yes

As you can see on the packaging, it is call a lip lasting and moisturizing gloss stain

Milani described this products (based on the website) as a mash-up of lipstick, gloss and stain.

So basically it combine 3 type of lip products into one clickable pen.

Quite innovative i think.

 

Inside as you can see, the products have brush applicator which in my opinion is very good

It's easier to use cause you can basically line your lips much more easy

And the good thing about it, since the colors i bought is more on brighter side it makes the application even easy so i literally can't mess it up.

Also, this is a clickable pen.

So to get the products, you must click it until you see the products comes out in the middle then you can use the brush to apply.

One little tip !!

Don't click it too fast or you would end up with lots of products while in real life you basically just need tiny bit of it.

Why ???

Cause it is so pigmented guys

A little goes a long way with this one.

Really nice products as you can see

It glides on smooth on the lips, it is moisturizing, and definitely live a stain behind.

Wear time for this is probably around 4-6 hours if you're not eat or drink

But if you do, it still leave stain that last up to 8 hours.

Another thing to put in your consideration is the price.

It is so affordable.

It is about 100k in Indonesia Rupiah which is for me is a bargain considering you just need a little of it for your lips.

Down side ?

Unfortunately it has ><

First, it slightly thicker formula so it feels quite heavy on the lips

Second, about the click kinda thing. If you're not careful, you will end with a lot amount of products in the brush which is for me is such a waste.

Other than that, i have no problem at all.

3CE Lipstick x PINK in Chu-Chu and Scandal

Hello guys

As promise in my previous post about my mini 3CE haul, today i will be review the beautiful lipstick from 3CE that i bought.

First let's take a minute to adore the packaging which is a PINK packaging

LOVE IT SO MUCH !!!

The packaging is the most reason i wanna buy this lipstick

For the color, well it's actually the original colors they had before (nothing new) but they just repackage it into pink to fit the 3CE PINK theme.

As i mention before, i bought two colors that i've been wanting for such a long time.

First, it's a kinda hot pink color call CHU-CHU

3CE described it as unique and flashy neon pink color

I just adore the ad where Park Sora wear it and just completely sold out at that moment

It's a very bright pink that i really think gonna suit my skin tone well

So pretty right ? xD

The fact that i was totally love how this lipstick show in picture makes me crazy

It's a bright lipstick that i can't wear on daily basis

But if you sheer it out or do gradient lips with it, it will make your lip looking beautiful and fresh

Pretty color, very pigmented, glides on smooth and very comfortable to wear

I just love this one so much that i even include it as one of my favorite all time pink lipstick

It just so pigmented, what you see on the tube is all you get on your lips

And the fact that how this lipstick shows in the ad feel the same as on my lips make me obsessed !!!

Definitely worth to try !!!!

Next i have SCANDAL

For the record, SCANDAL formulation is quiet different with CHU-CHU

Chu-Chu has a very moisturizing formulation while Scandal goes towards matte finish

But i love this one too

I think 3CE really done well on their lip products especially on how the colors will show on lips

Again what you see on the tube is what you definitely get

High pigmentation !!!!

3CE define SCANDAL as a fluorescents bright red with matte finish

Another very pretty color ♥♥♥

This is how it shows on my lip

Very beautiful bright red that compliments who wears it.

I really like how the color shows on my lips

It makes my teeth look whiter too

But i feel a little uncomfortable with the formulation

Since it supposed to be matte finish, it's quite uncomfortable to wear on the lips

It's not as moisturizing as Chu-Chu and definetely will not wearable if you have chap lips

So a little tips, wear lip balm first before you use it and make sure you scrub your lips before to prevent the lipstick to settle in to the dry lips.

What i love :

♥ Beautiful packaging ♥

♥ True to color, very pigmented formulation ♥

♥ for CHU-CHU, the formulation is moisturizing and feel nice to wear ♥

♥ Little bit glossy finish (Chu-Chu)

♥ Creamy and glides on smooth on the lips ♥

What i don't like :

- For Scandal , its uncomfortable to wear and easily settle to dry lips -

So far i'm lovin this lipstick despite the cons of it

REVIEW | Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm and Lacquer Balm

It's been very long time since my last post

I've been very occupied with work and others stuff so i can't blog

But here i come back with a review for revlon new stuff i just bought

If you live in Indonesia you probably already seen the ad in tv

It's the new colorburst balm that just hit our country !

I've been eyeing this stuff for such a loooonnnnggggg time

It's been release in USA last year but in my country this particular type of balm just release last month

They've already release the stain balm last year but they come with new type this year, the MATTE and the LACQUER one.

Well for sure when i go to revlon counter in my town, they don't sell all the color you see in the ads above.

Some of the color i've been wanting is not available in the counter, so disappointing 

But yeah i manage to get some color i like when i swatch in there.

I got one Matte balm and two Lacquer Balm

I got the MATTE balm in Shade Sultry and the LACQUER balm in shade Flirtatious and Vivacious

Top row Flirtatious, middle row Sultry, Bottom row Vivacious

My favorite is Vivacious ♥

I like how they easily slide on my lips

This balm is highly moisturize too just like what it say in the description.

But the lasting powers is not quite long.

I have to reapply them after eating or drinking.

But overall i really like this balm.

On the price range, it's quite affordable i think

They retail for Rp 88.000 in the counter while if you want to buy them online it cost like twice the price from the counter, so i say it's quite a bargain ^.^

What i like about this product :

1. It's very moisturizing

2. Easily apply on the lips and very convenient to take on the go

3. Very affordable in my opinion

4. The color payoff is very nice (super pigmented)

What i dislike about this product :

1. The color range in my town is very limited (each type only have 4 new color not unlike the official revlon website say)

2. The lasting powers not quite impressive

3. The scents is quite annoying (it has very balmy scent that i don't like)

That's my honest review for this product

Overall i could give this 3 stars over 5

I quite like this balm thing and i often reach out for it whenever i'm in hurry cause again it just so easy to apply this lipstick because of its pencil kinda type.
