Hi guys

Can't believe that it's already 2015

I feel so old already but quite excited to welcome the new year

2014 brought so many good memories to me too

I start to write more and review some products that really amazing in my opinion

So with no further do, this is my most favorite products of 2014 ♥

 

Favorite Foundation

Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet

absolutely love this foundation, very good for oily skin people but still give those nice looking kinda like your own skin finish, more review click this

Favorite Powder

Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Powder

really nice powder, it gives the skin a glowy finish that makes it looks healthy and nice. A must for those who seek a healthy glowy skin like.

Favorite Concealer for under eye

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind

definitely number one for under eye circle, hides the black under eye perfectly yet stay creamy and hydrate, not even gonna crease. The perfect concealer yet so inexpensive :D

Favorite concealer for pimple

Pond's Pimple Cover and Care Concealer

my most favorite for hide those nasty breakouts. It's the perfect color match for my skin tone,easy to blend and hide the pimple so well. Very cheap too. Definitely a steal !

Favorite Bronzer

Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder in Fiji

a very nice mid tone brown bronzing powder, it comes pair with the blush but i highly recommend the bronzer. very easy to blend and not to orange or to muddy for fair to medium skin tone. It's matte too and very cheap.

Favorite Highlighter

The Balm Mary Lou Manizer

a superb highlighter, give a very nice glow but not to much of a glow. Has a settle sparks on it that appear very nice on the cheekbone. If you never try it, you should ! xD

Favorite Powder Blush

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush

my most use and most beautiful blush ever. Very smooth, easy to blend, beautiful color etc.

Favorite Cream Blush

Chanel Cream Blush

i'm not a big fan of cream blush, but this one is definitely something worth to try. It stay like nobody business, very smooth and easy to blend with finger. Not gonna leave a streaky line when apply with finger. Expensive but so worth the penny.

 

Best Eye Shadow Palette

Urban Decay NAKED Palette

my most favorite and most use palette. Consist of 12 neutral shadow that very versatile to create day time look or even smoky eyes. 

Best Single Eye Shadow

Makeup Geek and Morphe Single Shadow

i can't pick which one is better since i love both of them equally. both very affordable and offer amazing quality and pigmentation so i think both of it worth to be in my most favorite single shadow.

Best Cream Shadow

Maybelline Color Tattoo shade Bad to the Bronze

most use cream shadow from my collection. Beautiful color, very pigmented, not gonna crease easily and very nice blended. my go to when i just want a simple wash of color on the lid.

Best Mascara

Maybelline The Rocket Volume Express

very affordable and good quality mascara. give a nice amount of volume to the lashes and seperates nicely. i really love the big fat bristle brushes and it holds the curl perfectly. :)

Best Eyeliner

3CE Creamy Waterproof Eyeliner

the most use and well love eyeliner from my entire collection. this eyeliner never fail me even once since i know it will not smudge and transfer easily ( i always like to use it for tightline) and definitely waterproof.

Best Eyebrow Product

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade

a waterproof and smudge-proof eyebrow product that i ever find. you just need little bit of it if you wanna create a nice sharp eyebrow. highly recommend it !

Best Drugstore Lip Products

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet

The most amazing liquid lipstick that i ever try. It gives velvet finish, last a long time and just so opaque that one swipe is enough !!! quite affordable and comes with many beautiful shade.

 I think this is the most amazing discovery products i found on 2014

Best High End Lip Products

Tom Ford Lipstick

well this is the most expensive lipstick i ever bought but a very damn good product too

glides on very very smooth on the lips, very opaque, and last quite a time. and look at those packaging, still can't beat those sophisticated look of it. 

 Best Lip Gloss

Nyx Butter Gloss

not a big fan of glosses but this stole my heart right away.

comes with so many shades, but it's not just ordinary glosses. Pigmentation of this glosses is AMAZING !!! feels like wearing a lipstick that very glossy. The smell is amazing too, very vanilla kinda scent (reminds me of cupcake) and very affordable.

So that's all guys for my most favorite 2014 products.

Some products is definitely not new release on 2014 but i still find it unbeatable.

If you can't get your hand on YSL Rosy Coral #dupealert

Hi guys

As promise on my last post today i have a dupe alert for you

Last two month i'd been obsessed with YSL Rosy Coral which more famous as "Cheon Song Yi Lipstick".

That lipstick probably become number one best seller on YSL counter this far cause everytime i try to buy it on the counter it will always out of stock and the SA will tell you to write your name in a super duper long list if they finally stock it again.

So goes the battle if you wanna purchase it from online shop

Lots of online shop sell it very overprice (much more expensive than buying in OTC)

So for you guys who wanna get the same vibe but don't wanna bother with the extra long list, overprice tag and many other reason, here's a dupe for you.

While i was cleaning and reorganizing my lipstick collection, i found an old lipstick of mine.

Not that old, i probably bought it last year xD.

It comes from Maybelline Color Sensational Collection

I was a little bit skeptical about it but the more i swatch it and the more i use it, it really looks quite similar

YSL Rosy Coral cost about Rp 450k (around $36) while the Maybelline one only cost about Rp 80k (around $6)

Quite different price tag right

But it is trully similar?

Well they looks similar in color but the formula is totally different.

As i mention in my previous post, i found YSL Rosy Coral very creamy and glide on smoothly on the lips while the Maybelline one is very creamy too but not as smooth when you glide it on your lips.

The finishes is somehow quite different too.

Eventhough both of this lipstick offer a very creamy formula, but the Maybelline somehow looks 

more glossy on the lips while the YSL have that semi matte finishes.

The color on swatches is quite similar but have slightly different tone

(Left : Maybelline Coral Crush ; Right : YSL Rosy Coral)

As you can see on the picture Maybelline is more like a true coral tone while the YSL has more pink on the coral

But like i said before, on the lips it is not very different at all

Maybelline one gives just the same effect like the YSL, that kinda coral-ly color.

So that is the closest dupe i could find for the YSL Rosy Coral.

Would you still spend more money to get the same lipstick Cheon Song Yi wear or probably you just wanna get the vibe and don't wanna spend a lot of money on a lipstick?

November Favorites

Hi guys

It's been a while since my last post

I've been caught up with other things so i'm very sorry if i can't post more often

Especially in december i probably will post less since i will help my family prepare for my brother wedding.

 

So today i'm gonna show you my november favorites.

This month i don't have many favorite item since i kinda try less new product and i try to reduce using makeup since my skin become more sensitive nowday ><

 

 

First is hair favorite, i've been loving this new hair oil from L'oreal call Extraordinary Oil.

I've been using this for 1 week and totally fall in love with it.

It makes my hair more smoother and shiny without leaving greasy feeling on the end of the hair.

So far so good and totally digging it !

Next is my O.S.T Vitamin C serum.

Well this is not a new product for me but i wanna mention it on this month favorites because i totally amaze with it.

As i told you before this month my skin become more sensitive than usual and i breakout a lot than normally do.

Using this vitamin serum really helps my skin calm down and help reduce the appearance of the acne scar faster than normal so i feel really grateful with this serum.

I've been using it for one year now and it never fail me once !!!

Another favorites of this month is my Chanel Cream Blush in Intonation

SUCH A GORGEOUS CREAM BLUSH FOR SURE

I never thought i would love cream blush ever !!!

This blush is just perfect for that nice corally kinda natural flush on the cheek

Definitely something you have to try if you never love cream blush before like i do xD

 

Last two favorites is lip products.

 

Eventhough i'm not using base makeup like foundation,etc everyday but lippies is a must for me xD

One is a new product i've been trying, the Innisfree Cream Mellow Lipstick in shade no. 4

This lipstick reminds me a lot of my favorite YSL Rouge Volupte Shine.

It's creamy, give a sheer color that feels like using tinted balm and very moisturizing.

One thing that a little different from the YSL is the innisfree one slightly hard to glide on the lip easily ><.

The other one is the Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Coral Crush

This is a very dupe of the YSL RPC 52 (Cheon Song Yi Lipstick) !!!

Like seriously, the color is slightly similar to the RPC 52

I will post more detail soon on this as the dupe for RPC 52 xD.

 

So that's all of the favorites product of November that i've been loving and using a lot on November

By the end of the year i will post my yearly favorites products for you guys so just stay reading xD

♥ October Favorites ♥

Greetings my fellow readers

It is that time of the month again to write my favorites products of October xD

 

 

Etude House Ac Clinic Intense Pink Powder Spot

 

Starting with my new skincare favorite, which is the etude house pink powder spot

The reason why i try it because i currently run out of my most used Mario Badescu drying cream because i can't purchase them anymore at Luxola ><

I love my mario badescu so much but i have to move on and decide to give this a try.

What i actually like about it, the concept is pretty similar to the mario badescu one and it actually works too.

I found it dry my zits around 2-3 days and help maintain the whiteheads too.

Totally new love this month, and the best part is this products is much cheaper than mario badescu which is a best selling point of it if you want to compare it with the mario badescu one.

 

Make Up For Ever HD Foundation

 

A super old love of mine.

This foundation is the best when you want a nice coverage, a long lasting formula, a better instant good looking skin on photograph and many other reasons.

This foundation has been my holy grail for such a long time

I really love the finishes of this foundation and of course just like the name which is HD it's offering a super nice looking skin when you use it to photograph (not gonna flash back in the photo)

I use this one a lot this month due to a lot of parties i attend and this one just always cover my back.

Totally a must have if you want that HD kinda look *wink*

 

Benefit Fake Up Concelear

 

Another old love that i start to loving again

I really like this concelear when i feel my under eye area is pretty dry at the time cause it helps hydrating them and just cover the dark circle perfectly

Not easily crease too which become another bonus to using it :)

 

Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso

 

A perfect blush for that perfect peachy color cheeks !!!

My most favorite peach blush ever

It is so pigmented, stay longer on the cheeks, have a tiny bit of shimmer that make it looks gorgeous when you wear it and of course the super friendly pocket price.

Definitely one of the gems in the drugstore that you probably need to buy xD.

 

 

Maybelline Master Brow Pencil

 

A new thing i just found at drugstore

Very very cheap and nice brow products for the price

It is only Rp 30k which is insanely cheap (well comparing it to anastasia products it is very very cheap)

I really like the pencil form cause it makes drawing the brow easier

The only complain i have on this product is i wish they put spooley on it cause it will make it easier to use and to take travelling.

 

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Ole Flamingo

 

My most use lip product this month and another fushcia lippies i love

I notice that this is actually very popular in Indonesia right now cause some people thinking that this is actually a cheaper dupe to LimeCrime Velvetines.

Well i never try Velvetines before, but honestly if you can get your hand on this products you should buy every single colors of them cause they're so darn good !!!

It is very damn pigmented, have a long lasting power on the lips that will not budge whatsoever, and just very lighweight to wear which is perfect for daily use.

Simple Eye Makeup and Coral Lip Tutorial

Hey my fellow readers

As promise in my haul post, today i'm gonna show you guys how i do my makeup using this YSL Lipstick i just got.

Love this lipstick so much since it's remind me the look of Cheon Song Yi

But i'm not gonna recreate Cheon Song Yi look

Honestly, i'm not good to recreate people looks

So today i'm just gonna show you how i do it base on what i think best for myself.

Soooo this is the look i create.

Just simple eye makeup to balance the bold coral-ly lipstick

I really like the way this lipstick show on my lips so much ^.^

 

The products i use to achieve this look are 

 

Foundation : Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet in shade B10

Eye : Urban Decay Naked Pallete using only shade Naked and Buck

3CE Creamy Waterproof Eyeliner in Zorro

Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler

Maybelline Rocket Volume Express Mascara

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Chocolate

Cheek : Clinique Cheek Pop in shade 03 Berry Pop

Lip : YSL Rouge Pur Couture in shade 52 Rosy Coral

 

So for the tutorial i'm just gonna show you guys only the picture how i do the eye look since i think that is the part that need a little bit more than just an explanation.

 

First of course i start with applying my foundation using a beauty blender.

In the look i don't use concelear since i using two layer of this foundation to make it has more coverage.

Then, into the eyes

 

 

 I start with applying Naked (a light brown color) all over the lid, then i take Buck (a medium brown color) using a blending brush, brush Buck into the crease to make it more define.

Then i'm taking my eyeliner and only tightline my eyes.

Tightlining will help make your lashes appear more full and just give a nice settle eyeline without looking too much.

 



 

Next gonna curl those lashes and apply a generous amount of mascara xD.

 

Now for the brow

I'm using my trusty Anastasia dipbrow pomade that really good for humid weather.

Trust me, this brow pomade will not budge whatsoever !

 

Start with lining the bottom line of your brow first to make it really define

Then using the spooley, brush it upward to make it more natural and look like your own brow hair.

Brush over until you feel like it become more natural looking.

Next line the upper line of your brow with what left on your brush then brush over again so the line will not appear unnatural.

After that you can get your natural looking crisp brow xD

( This is the method i find the best to make my brow looks more natural ).

 

And last step just put your blush on the apple of your cheek and slap on the lipstick on your lips

That's it !!!

August HAUL !!!!

Hi

Today post is about a haul that i just done for the entire August

I quiet manage to get a lot products that i've been wanting for such a long time last month

I've been craving for some of them since i kinda collect them and i just love the products itself

Hihihi xD

 

 

Quiet a lot right ? xD

Some new skincare products and of course some new makeup to try

Hohohoho

 

First of them all is the eyeshadow

I finally can get my hand into this MAKEUPGEEK Shadows !!!

Been wanting them all so much since i love to watch Marlena youtube channel.

I got 8 pans which is i know quiet a lot for me

But i can't help it ><

They're retail for $5,99 each pan and have a same quality or even better than Mac shadow and a lot cheaper too

It shipped right away from USA with very affordable shipping price

I only pay $6 for shipping right from USA to Indonesia

How cool is that !!!

Around Indonesia shipping usually cost me much more than this.

So glad i decided to get it right from the website than some online shop (overprice selling as always).

Next i got some affordable side makeup

I got three Maybelline 24 Color Tattoo since i love Bad to the Bronze so much i decided to get another colors that quite bold which is unlike me.

I get Too Cool which is a white silvery shade, than Tenacious Teal which is a beautiful teal color and last is Edgy Emerald which is slightly mint green with shimmery finish.

Next i got Tony Moly backstage eyeliner in Black that i want to try for such a long time ago but keep forgetting to buy it ><

And lastly is two new nail polish from Etude House Play Nails Collection :)

 

 

 

Last for makeup is LIPSTICK

This the part i most excited for xD

First, finally i could get my hand on the very infamous Cheon Song Yi Lipstick which is YSL Rouge Pur Couture No. 52 Rosy Coral !!!!!

Arghhhhhh !!!!!

Finally !!!!

I've been searching for this one for some time now but the overprice make me hesitate to buy it

But my wait is finally over, i found an online shop at instagram call BeautyPartner who sell this lipstick on very most reasonable price.

Lucky Me !!!

The color is just very pretty on my skin and quite flattering too

My sister even ask me to share it with her since it basically look good on everybody.

Definitely gonna make tutorial with it xD

Next i got me two new TOM FORD Lipstick

I know you guys probably think i splurge a lot

Well i do splurge a lot but i really love Tom Ford Lipstick that much that i decided to start collecting them.

Beside the reason i bought two is cause there's discount back in May which is the Neiman Marcus Annual Sale that make me decided to get more since it save me around 5 dollars each.

So quite a bargain xD.

 

 

Last for this haul post is new skincare products

First i got new moisturizer since my shiseido will run out soon i decided to have backup

But this time i wanna try new moisturizer and that is the Philosophy Oil Free Gel Moisturizer

I heard a lot of youtubers talk about this moisturizer and that's why i wanna give it a shot.

Beside, Philosophy now make it to Luxola and that means i could easily purchase them

And the best other part is that Luxola always come with discount codes that make the product is much cheaper that anywhere you could find.

About the beauty blender, it's one of free gift i receive from Luxola

♥ July Favorites ♥

Hello guys

I'm kinda late to post my favorites of July, so sorry ><

I've been too distracted by holiday and somehow kinda lazy to post

Sooooo, today i'm gonna post about my july favorites products that i always do every single new month xD

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze

I've been loving to use cream shadow lately, and this shade particularly from maybelline just fit the best

It's very pigmented and just nice to be use as single shadow in the lid

I just put it all over the lid and i simply good to go

How good is that ? xD

The color for me just perfect for everyday use

So if you're kind of girl who too lazy to layer your shadow for everyday look i think this one will come in handy xD.

Maybelline Hyper Sharp Liner

I don't know what happen with me but lately i've been obsessed to put wing liner and this pen do the best for me.

First i'm gonna say it makes making wing liner so much easier.

Why???

It's a felt tip liner, that's why

Another reason why i love it because i find it to not easily smudge not like other liner ( i try nyx before and it feels like nightmare !!! ), and it's quite cheap too (much cheaper than Nyx too !!! )

Definitely my most favorite this month.

3CE Blush in Cotton Candy

I've been trying to use blush that more on a budget friendly list lately

and looking into my collection i find this one.

Well it's not kind a cheap but still compare to hourglass i believe this is more on the affordable side.

The color is just like the name, a pinky color which i usually don't tend to go for

But so far, this blush has win me over.

It's definitely can't compare to hourglass but at least it do something to my pale cheek.

Pretty color and nice quality for the price too.

You guys should check it out .

Benefit Cha-Cha Tint and Aritaum Honey Melting Tint in Grapefruit Soda

Lately i've been obsessed not with just wing liner but doing orange lips.

The products i choose to achieve the perfect orange lips for me is the cha-cha tint and aritaum tint in grapefruit soda.

I do think this two works much more perfectly together.

I put cha-cha tint first and it gives little hint of orange, and then intensify it with top it using the aritaum melting tint.

Love this combo for the whole July !!!

False Lashes Container

It's kinda random beauty thing i just bought

I love the design so much and just how helpful this thing to store my false lashes.

I really love to use false lashes lately and this container help me to properly store them so i could use the lashes up to five times.

And it's in pink

How could i ever resist.

Hey guys

I'm back again with another favorites post

I really feel june past really quick this time and now it's already july

How fast time really gone by ><

So before i chatty much more, let's just jump to my favorites for June ♥

 

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

I just purchased this cleansing oil in the mid of June

I've been trying to find a makeup cleanser that works better like Bioderma since i can't purchase Bioderma in my hometown (which is a shame since i love Bioderma so much ><)

So i went to Body Shop and found this

I see this before in Amelia Liana Blog and she kinda raved about this so i wanna try it.

At first i was kinda afraid because i have oily skin and this cleanser is basically oil base

But turns out it doing pretty nice on me

It doesn't leave a greasy feeling after using it and most important thing of all, it doesn't break me out 

( i try etude house cleansing oil while back and it break me out a lot)

I really enjoy using this cleansing oil a lot now so i think it is a must to insert it as my june favorite xD

Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Chocolate

In the last may favorite post, i was on search for a nice and waterproof + smudgeproof brow product

And i finally found one !

It's the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade !!!

I freakin love this stuff

It's waterproof and smudgeproof as i want it to be, great product.

The downside? yes it has a downside

It's kinda hard to use if you're not quite familiar with it

You need to be extra careful cause it is so pigmented and if you put too much your brow will look so damn terrible.

A little trick i found work for me the best is to outlining my brow first with the tiniest amount of it in some brow brush

Then i use brow brush to blend it and kinda soften the line i use for outline it xD

Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter in no 96 Macaroon

Another revlon product for lip favorite this month

I'm in love with the formulation of this lipstick

It's moisturizing, glide on smoothly on the lips and the color is just perfect for everyday

Totally love this one so much  ♥

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Dim Infusion

God knows how much i love this blush

Ever since i got it, i wear it practically non stop !!!

The color and the result on the cheeks is absolutely gorgeous

Hear lots of compliment to whenever i wear it

Totally a worth buying blush ♥

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer

It's the nicest under eye concealer i ever found

It glides on smoothly, it blends beautifully and it doesn't creasing on me

The best thing of all, it conceal my dark under eye circles perfectly.

Overly in love with this stuff

Too bad that Maybelline Indonesia doesn't produce this one yet since it's kinda expensive if you wanna buy it from online shop >.<

Pond's Pimple Cover and Care Concealer Pen

I really like this stuff so much

It's the nicest concealer i ever found at Indonesia store ever !!!

It conceal and cover the pimple nicely

Eventhough it only has one shade, it matches me very good

At first i thought it's a little bit to dark for me but turns out i was wrong

It's easy to blend, cover nicely and cheap

The best thing i ever found !!!
