There is something about FUSCHIA ...

It's been a while since my last post

I'm kinda procrastinate a little bit to post something on my blog, mainly because i was lazy

But today i have something quiet interesting to post

Well lately i've been into the wagon of using Fuschia Lipstick

Reason ???

No reason at all

I just so into it right now

At first, i thought fuschia is not me

I remember long time ago, i see korean drama actress wears a lot of bright fuschia lipstick and i ended up bought one and when i try it on myself it look extremely ridiculous.

Then i put those lipstick in the deepest section of my collection and never wear it again.

Now, it is totally different situation

I don't know how it happen actually, but i try them on one more time and i was completely captivated !!!

Like seriously, i wear them almost every time i can get my hand on it.

So the big sum up about this post is literally not my struggle with fuschia lipstick bit more on the side that i wanna show you guys 4 type of fuschia lip products i've been loving now.

Etude House Dear Blooming Lipstick in shade PK015

Start with the first FUSCHIA lipstick i bought back then when i was obsessed with korean drama

It is the Etude House Dear Blooming Lipstick that is part of the pink collection Etude House release back last year.

I was really captivated with the ad where Krystal wear this lipstick.

I thought i never have lipstick with that color before and decided to buy it anyway

Turns out now, it is really become one of my favorite

I really like how the color show on my lips now.

It is very pigmented, have satin finish and leave a stain even after drinking or eating.

So i think it is a must to include this as one of my favorite " Fushcia Lip "

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in shade 37 L'exuberante

I always always love Chanel lipstick

The packaging, the formula, the goodness

It is just one of my favorite lipstick in the whole lipstick type and brand

This particular shade is one of my most use Chanel Lipstick

As the name suggest, it gives matte finish to the lip but not too matte that it makes it uncomfortable to wear.

It is extremely comfortable, so pigmented and has a good long lasting formula

Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in shade Ole Flamingo

Have i ever mention that Bourjois is actually a sister company to Chanel Cosmetics?

Well no wonder because the quality of this lippies are comparable to Chanel

Just like the rouge allure velvet, the rouge edition velvet from Bourjois offer matte finish to the lip and a very lighweight formula so it is comfortable to wear daily basis,

The only different is the bourjois is in liquid creamy formulation

If you see the swatches below, the bourjois one has more creamy formulation than Chanel

And of course from the price

So if you need a nice dupe for the L'exuberante, just get the Ole flamingo :)

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine no.5 Fuschia in Excess

And the last of the whole Fuschia madness, i can't get done with it until mentioning YSL RVS in no.5

This is the lipstick when i want to rock the fuschia lip without going to much

It has sheer formulation which make it really nice to wear on daily basis since it shows sheer and just give hint of color to the lips

Just like wearing tinted balms but obviously better.

Definitely a stapple if you are a little bit shy to go full on bold lipstick xD.

How I Clean My Brushes

Hello xD

Today i'm back posting my usual method of how i clean all my brushes.

Well it is very important to clean your brushes on daily basis since we often use them at our face and sometimes it could be picking up bacteria that we can't see with bare eyes.

So yes i agree that cleaning brushes it is one of the most important part to keep bacteria mash up and ended up having breakouts on our face.

 

So the stuffs you need to clean your brushes are

1. Your dirty brushes of course

2. Baby shampoo

3. It is optional, but i like cleaning my brushes using gloves cause it makes it easier to clean the brushes and it doesn't take longer to do it.

4. Another optional thing, is my Sigma Dry and Shape cause it helps dry the brushes faster and keep maintain the shape of the brush the way it is.

 

 

Start with prepare your shampoo into a bowl or little plate like i do and mix it a little bit water

Then start wet the brush you want to clean and dip the brush in the solution of baby shampoo and water.

 

Using the gloves from sigma i start to swirl the brush in the WASH part of the gloves using circular motions.

Keep swirl it until there's lot of foam form and the start refine the brush in the REFINEpart.

The REFINE part help to deep clean the brush so the brush will be more cleaner and help it to refine bristle of the brush.

After that run the water to the brush until the foam is slightly gone and the rinse it on the RINSE part to remove makeup residue and soap.

After that i usually go back to REFINE again and then RINSE again.

Then the last step is to shape the brush back again in the SHAPE part.

So easy and very quick way to clean brushes

 

 

This is the closer look of the gloves

It has two part, the FACE part which is for bigger brushes like powder brush, foundation brush and etc.

While the other part is for the EYES part which is designed more suitable for washing smaller brushes like the lid brush, crease brush, blending brush and etc.

From very dirty blush brush into clean and ready to use blush brush xD.

 

 

Now it is time to dry them

Usually i only use towel to dry them but i just purchase this Sigma Dry and Shape from Luxola and guess what, it helps the dry process even faster and easy

It is designed to dry the brushes more quickly then just using towel cause it hold the brush upside down so the water after cleaning them can run down even faster.

Another advantage of using it, it helps shape the brushes so the brush will maintain it original form

Very cool stuff in my opinion.

It is pricey i know, around 400k but luxola often has discount code and i think it is a good investment cause you can use it like all the time or so i could say for eternity :p (totally hyperbole xD.)

 

 

So that's all of how i clean all my makeup brushes

This is so far the easiest method that work out for my brushes so well and until now my brushes still maintain it good shapes and well use eventhough i've been using them for 1,5 years now.

♥ September Favorites ♥

Hi everyone

It is the time of the month again

Kinda hard to believe that september finally pass us and now it is October

Meaning only 3 more months before the end of 2014

Time is surely gone by faster than i thought this year ><

Nonetheless let's jump to this month favorites xD.

 

 

Etude House Good Bye Pore Ever Primer

 

New primer ! Yeay

Been using this stuff for whole month

Well i could quite say i like it since it helps with my oily skin quite a bit

It makes my skin more smooth and not too oily during the day

But for the pore reduce or invisible kind of thing, it is not helping whatsoever

But still i like it because it prevent my face to looking very greasy by the end of the day :)

 

3CE Highlight Beam

 

Well i've been digging the whole lifted and nicely highlighted cheek bones

So i try this one since this product already sitting on the pile of makeup i have and never give it a try before.

It slightly pink color but the color doesn't reduce the goodness of this product

I find it really nice to use since it is a liquid highlighter and the texture is nice and give very subtle look

So far really enjoying this one so much

 

Clinique Cheek Pop in shade Berry Pop

 

First thing first, let's adore the super beautiful packaging

I'm so into this kind of thing since it really pretty

But don't be wrong, it is not always usual that pretty packaging mean worst quality product cause this blush is amazing !!!

Love how pigmented this blush is, the texture is kinda unique too

When you touch it from the pan, it slightly has those creamy feeling but it is not cause it is turn to be a powder

And another good thing about it, is that this blush is so long lasting

Probably do to the unique texture of it

 

YSL Rouge Pur Couture shade 52 Rosy Coral

 

You probably see this coming already

I love it so much !!!!

Ever since i got it i never stop wearing it, like EVERY SINGLE DAY !!!

So crazy

The color is just suits me perfectly, the formulation is beyond word (all YSL lippies are amazing)

Just freaking love it so much

No need more explanation xD

 

Lavie Lash in Rosie

 

I never mention it before but i'm such big lover of Lavie Lash lashes

I really like this brand of faux lashes cause i find it more easy to use, very comfortable to wear (some lashes usually feel uncomfortable to wear) and you can basically use it up to 6-8 times if you clean them properly.

I really like this type call Rosie cause it is very natural, almost like my own lashes but definitely better

This type is perfect for everyday use too cause people will not notice whatsoever if you put some false lashes, very very natural :)

Sigma Tightline Brush

 

Mostly i like to tightline my eyes since i found it helps to define my eyes even better and not make them looks smaller

But tightline with gel liner is a little bit harder to do

But ever since i got this brush, it makes tightline even more easy !!!

The brush is soft to go into the sensitive are on eyes and definitely perfect for do tightline.

So if you want to try tightline with gel liner, probably should get this brush cause it is amazing
